Relative Clauses Exercise 2

Here's an exercise about relative clauses. In this case, the relative pronoun is the subject of the relative clause (this means you can't drop 'who', 'which' or 'that')

Add the phrase in brackets to the sentence using 'that' or 'who' and a relative clause:

1)I dropped a glass (the glass was new) Show Anser

I dropped a glass that was new

2) She loves books (the books have happy endings) Show Anser

She loves books that have happy endings

3)They live in a city (the city is in the north of England) Show Anser
